Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Polestar Apps collects through www.polestarapps.com and our apps (such as Planova), how we use it, and your choices. We collect as little as we need to run the Services.

1. Information we collect

• Account details: your name and email address, from Google sign-in or the sign-up form, and your company workspace name.
• Business data you enter: production lines, orders, styles, plans, holidays, production actuals and similar information you add to the apps.
• Payment records: the plan you bought, amount, date and the Razorpay order and payment reference. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by Razorpay and never reach us.
• Website usage: anonymous page views and which app pages are visited, linked only to a random identifier stored in your browser — not to your name, email or IP address. Our website also uses Google Analytics, which may set its own cookies.
• Waitlist: if you join a waitlist, the email address you give us and the app you're interested in.

2. How we use it

• To provide the apps, keep your workspace secure and let your team work together.
• To process payments, keep billing records and send receipts and plan reminders (for example before a plan ends).
• To tell waitlist members about launches and important updates.
• To understand which pages and apps are useful so we can improve them.

We do not sell your personal information or your business data, and we do not use your business data for advertising.

3. Who we share it with

• Supabase — hosts our database and sign-in.
• Razorpay — processes payments.
• Google — sign-in with Google, and website analytics.
• Our email provider — to send plan reminders and updates.
• Authorities, only where required by law.

These providers process data only to deliver their service to us.

4. How long we keep it

• Business data in an app is kept while your plan is active and for 15 days after it ends; after that it is permanently deleted (see our Refund & Cancellation Policy).
• Account and payment records are kept as long as needed for your account and for legal and tax requirements.
• Waitlist emails are kept until you ask us to remove them.

5. Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and each company's data is separated so that only its own members can access it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

6. Your choices and rights

• You can view and correct your account details, and export your data from the apps.
• You can ask us to delete your account, your workspace data, or your waitlist email at any time by writing to harish.manmohan@gmail.com.
• You can block or clear cookies and local storage in your browser.

7. Children

The Services are meant for businesses and are not directed at children under 18.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date shows the current version.
